Lost and Found does span a multitude of musical genres yet seems to succeed in fusing them together to make a genuinely listenable track.
FYR Macedonia has presented their entry for Lisbon. Eye Cue will perform Lost And Found in the second half of semi-final 1.
This is a commendable effort from FYRoM after last year’s generic fanwank, Dance Alone. Lost and Found does span a multitude of musical genres yet seems to succeed in fusing them together to make a genuinely listenable track.
Lead singer of Eye Cue, Marija Ivanovska, sounds vocally solid and appears to be a more confident performer than last year’s entrant, Jana Burčeska.
I wouldn’t anticipate a huge amount of jury love for FYRoM, but if they somehow manage to convey the uplifting summery vibe in the staging, I can imaging a reasonably decent amount of televote support. They will need help with the running order and might even be the perfect semi-final closer, which would heap more pressure on the likes of Finland’s Saara Aalto.
Are FYRoM making qualification tricky for other nations?
