Italy: Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro Win Sanremo 2018

The fifth and final night of Sanremo 2018 has drawn to a close, and despite the early controversy, Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro won the Festival with their song, Non mi avete fatto niente (You did not do anything to me).

Lo Stato Sociale were runners up with Annalisa trailing in third.

The duo have accepted the invite to represent Italy at Eurovision 2018, but we await confirmation of the song.

A massive congratulations to DurhamBorn who wrote this year’s betting preview. He highlighted Lo Stato Sociale as contenders at over 50/1 and Annalisa as a top-3 contender. He even got Ron getting the Critics Award!

  1. So, so happy for Ermal and Fabrizio. I am not talking with my punter’s hat on, I am talking with my human hat on. The song that gave me a chill shower from head to toes. Don’t care about their final place in Eurovision they just need to be there.
