Eurovision 2018: We’re off to Lisbon

Last night’s leak saw hotel rooms on Booking.com disappear quicker than the free Fika at Sweden’s press centre, but it transpired that the earlier dates of 1st, 3rd and 5th of May proved to be false. Instead, the dates for the live shows were as originally rumoured on the 8th, 10th and 12th of May. However, it came as no surprise that we’re heading to beautiful Lisbon given it was the only bid to include sufficient infrastructure.

The 20,000 capacity MEO Arena, which resembles a giant flat-cap, will be home to the hoards of fans, bloggers and journalists for the two weeks prior to the Grand Final. Further information about branding and slogans will follow over the coming months.
