  1. Where did you listen to Bastard by Strėlės? Fun fact – Strėlės was the first contestant to be eliminated from Lithuania’s X factor this season.

  2. Havent listened to the song’s but Bastard is also my favourite.

  3. #Vilnius2018
    “Let’s All Be Bastards, Together.”

  4. @Gavster, Ruslanas Kirilkinas and Soliaris are out. For some reasons they cancelled their participation.

  5. Now that Lithuania’s getting into the business end of their selection, I’ve had a look at a handy recap of the qualifiers of all the heats. Without any other research, the standouts for me are Otreya, Greta Zazza, Aiste Pivelyete (with an Aminata song) Lolita Zero and possibly Mia.

Lolita Zero (aka Tin Foil Tranny) is winning the public vote every time he’s on but I can’t see him heading to Kyiv unless the jury start throwing more weight behind it than 7s and 8s… or unless the final or super-final if there is one, is 100% televote.

Otherwise Greta Zazza has a very appealing and modern song, and it looks like the fan-circles appreciate it too, but the live performance needs work. Aiste’s song is not Aminata’s finest IMO, much more left-field than Love Injected and Heartbeat, but Lithuania have got nothing to lose in giving her a shot. Mia’s song is decent but quite nondescript.

Gun to my head, I’d say Greta Zazza is off to Kyiv unless the jury have no say at the bitter end of the contest, in which case there’ll be a watermelon juice splash warning for the front 5 rows.

    • In every show it’s 50% jury and 50% televote, including the final. In case of a tie in the final the jury will decide the winner. One of my favorite songs this year is “Rain of Revolution by Fusedmarc”.

  7. Hahaha, Fusedmarc is the new favorite. I love them! Check out this video and tell me what you think. https://goo.gl/RB5Eo0
