Another cracking set of early value from Unibet. The value won’t stick around for long, so get on board while it lasts!
After today’s publication of the running order, the following match-ups appeal greatly:
- Martin Stenmarck vs Linda Bengtzing – 2.20
Linda has never failed to reach the final of Melodifestivalen, and with a song from Kempe, we should get a lively and vote-attracting piece of pop. Obviously, Martin won in 2005, but I feel Linda is underrated in this match-up.
- Janet Leon vs Helena Paparizou – 2.10
Today’s running order confirmed that Helena is more favoured than Janet Leon. Janet failed from last in the running order last year, so I doubt singing 3rd in a heat containing Ewald, Alcazar and Bengtzing will aid her chances.
- Oscar Zia – Anton Ewald – 1.4
The narrative surrounding Oscar so far has been low-key. Oscar is also performing from 3rd in the running order, whereas Anton is singing last in heat 4. 1.4 is a short price, but provided Anton turns up, it’s a certainty.
- Alcazar vs Dr Alban ft. Jessica Folcker – 3.20
I think this price is value given Unibet still haven’t reacted to today’s running order. Alcazar are on first (can help), but Dr Alban is going last. It’s a straight fight between what are expected to be dated songs. Alcazar are against Ewald and Bengtzing, so they might be aiming for andra chansen at best. Alcazar have proceeded direct to the final just once in four attempts. Dr Alban has to beat what is rumoured to be a decent song from Outrigger and maybe something current from Ace Wilder. In my opinion, 3.20 is big given what happened to Army of Lovers last year.
