Portugal: Filipa Sousa – Vida Minha

Last night, Filipa Sousa was chosen as Portugal’s candidate for Eurovision 2012 in Baku.

To start, I’ll begin by pointing out that Portugal already had a hard task ahead of them to qualify from semi final two. That task hasn’t been made any easier with this song. With a clique of Balkan and Slavic nations, in addition to Scandinavian and Bloc heavyweights, I can’t see how Portugal can proceed any further with what is an unexciting, boring and old fashioned song.

Sorry, but it’s just not distinctive enough.
